About Long Island Foundation Pros
We're a family-owned foundation repair company built on one principle: honesty is the product.
Long Island homeowners have been burned. They've called companies that sent salespeople with scripts, not contractors with tools. They've received quotes from $12,000 to $38,000 for the same job. They've had interior drains installed that managed water symptoms while the structural problem kept getting worse.
We started Long Island Foundation Pros because we believed Long Island deserved a foundation contractor that would look at your wall, tell you the truth about what it needs, recommend only what's necessary, and fix it with licensed professionals who show up on time and clean up when they leave.
What "Honesty Is the Product" Means in Practice
It means we walk away from jobs. If a homeowner needs a $600 crack injection and calls expecting to spend $15,000, we do the $600 job and come home. If a crack is cosmetic and doesn't need intervention yet, we say so — even when that costs us a contract.
It means we give you options at different price points and explain the trade-offs. Carbon fiber straps vs. wall anchors, interior drain vs. exterior membrane — both can be the right answer depending on your situation. We explain the differences without steering you toward the more expensive option by default.
It means the owner is on site every day, not managing from an office. When you have a question at 7 AM on day two, you get an answer from someone who actually knows the job.

Why We Know Long Island Foundations
Long Island has a unique foundation challenge portfolio. The 1955–1975 CMU block wall era produced the bulk of the repair work we see today — homes that are now 60–70 years old and hitting their failure window. The South Shore water table is unlike anything in the rest of New York State. The North Shore clay soils create lateral pressure patterns that differ from sandy glacial soils just miles away.
We've inspected thousands of Long Island basements. We know the difference between a settling foundation in a Melville farm-field development and a bowing wall in a Lawrence waterfront home. We know what the block walls in Levittown look like after 70 winters. That local experience is something a national franchise can't replicate.

What Our Customers Say
“I was quoted $28,000 by two other companies. Long Island Foundation Pros looked at the same wall and told me I needed carbon fiber straps — $6,800. My basement has been dry for 18 months. I wish I'd called them first.”

“My 1962 ranch in Levittown had water coming in every spring for as long as I can remember. They installed an interior drain system and I haven't touched a wet-vac since. Honest guys who showed up when they said they would.”
Frank D.
Levittown · basement-waterproofing
“As someone buying a house on the North Shore, I needed a foundation assessment before closing. They came out the next day, gave me a full written report, and told me exactly what I was dealing with. No upsell, just facts. I bought the house and had them fix it.”
Michael T.
Northport · foundation-crack-repair
“The owner was on site every day. They explained every step. When they found the crack was smaller than the photo suggested, they adjusted the scope and charged me less. That never happens.”
Diane R.
Massapequa · foundation-crack-repair
“After Sandy our basement has never been right. Three different companies over the years didn't fix it. Long Island Foundation Pros finally found the source — a failing footer drain — and actually fixed it. Should have called them in 2013.”
Robert S.
Freeport · basement-waterproofing
“I was terrified the whole house would collapse. They walked me through every crack, showed me photos, and explained what was serious and what wasn't. Turned out I needed a lot less than I feared. Honest and professional.”
Patricia L.
Syosset · bowing-wall-repair
“As a single mom having to deal with foundation repair, it was overwhelming until I called these guys. They explained everything, gave me options at different price points, and never pressured me. The job was done in two days.”
Sandra K.
Smithtown · foundation-crack-repair
“Another waterproofing company tried fixing it twice and couldn't stop the water. Long Island Foundation Pros identified the real source — a failed footing drain, not the wall crack everyone else kept patching. Dry basement ever since.”
James H.
